CSA Marathon - Day 1 - Nilgiris

For this Independence Day, we have planned to conduct CSA Marathon Session at three different places on three different days. On the first day we decided to cover two primary schools in Nilgiris.

  • PUPS, Madithorai
  • PUPS, Dhoddani

Session at PUPS, Madithorai

The flag has been hoisted and after Chief Guest's speech, the school English teacher introduced our team to the Parents, Children and Staffs present three. The people happily received us and also appreciated our NGO for our cause and also serving at this very young age.

There were 26 Children present to attend the session. The session went well and was handled by both Vigneshwaran and Nirosha. The Children were very eager and listened to us keenly and responded back with huge enthusiasm.

After the completion of the session at Madithorai, the team travelled another 15 Kms to reach Dhoddani. The children became happy on seeing us and they were waiting eagerly for us.

We started the CSA session with the 52 number of children present. The session went well and children participated well in the session. Our tiredness vanished on seeing the faces of the children as we became one of them.

On seeing our teaching methods, the Head Master and Staffs of both the school shared their views and were impressed with our content. They promised us to have a Teacher-Parent session at schools soon.

We thank both the school management and Ranjith from Thoorigai Trust for giving us this opportunity.

Hat-Trick CSA Session - Part I

We conducted three session on three continuous days for the first time on Child Safety and Child Sexual Abuse. 18/09/2018 - CSA session for Teachers in Spartaan Matriculation School, Madurai. 19/09/2018 - CSA session in American College, Madurai. 20/09/2018 - CSA session for Kids in Spartaan Matriculation School, Madurai. First we conducted the session for the Teachers at the school. The session was handled by our stupendous Sharath and Revathi, who is the project lead for our upcoming Parenting work. The teachers were very keen from the begining and were advised on how to take care of children while addressing a problem. They were given many points on the way a child would like to be treated. After the completion of the session,  teachers gave us feedback that 'Now we got good knowledge to handle kids'.
